JC-29Ni1 is a low-alloy steel self-shielded flux-cored welding wire, which needs no shielding gas. It has excellent low temperature toughness, high deposition efficiency with 0.8%-1.10% Ni in the deposited metal. The arc has strong penetration power with spurting appearance. It has easy operation, beautiful appearance of weld and good slag detachability. Direct Current Straight Polarity (DCSP). It is suitable for all-position welding. Due to the fast concreting speed of slag, it is especially suitable for vertical downward welding.
It is applied in the situation where high ductility and element nickel are required. It especially fits in welding oil and gas pipelines coded from API X52 to X70, which have high requirement of low-temperature toughness. It is also applicable in fully and semi -automatic welding of ordinary steels, weathering-resistant steels and high-strength steels such as gas and oil pipeline, offshore platform, storage tank and etc.
